Man injured in collision

On Sunday July 15, 2012 St Thomas Police attended a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Wellington Road and Talbot Hill. Police say a female motorist travelling West bound on Talbot Hill failed to stop for the red traffic signal resulting in the collision with a second vehicle travelling Northbound on Wellington Road. A 93 year old passenger was transported by ambulance to St Thomas Elgin General Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. Police have charged the 37 year old female driver with disobeying the red traffic light. She received a $110.00 ticket.

Drunks arrested

Within a four hour time span Sunday evening, St Thomas Police arrested and charged a 52 year old male and 37 year old male for being intoxicated on city street(s). Both males were lodged until sober.
