Motor vehicle collision

On Wednesday August 8, 2012 St Thomas Police attended a Motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Fairview Avenue and Wellington Street. Police say a 30 year old female motorist travelling North bound on Fairview Avenue struck the back of a second vehicle stopped at the intersection. The female driver was charged with careless driving and received a $ 490.00 provincial offences ticket.

Stolen vehicle

St Thomas Police report sometime after 1:00AM Friday August 10, 2012 a 2011 BMW C3I grey in colour bearing Ontario licence number BJRB-198 was stolen from a Curtis Street residence. The vehicle was last seen by the London Police Service in that city around 1:49AM. Anyone with information is asked to contact the St Thomas Police Service at 519-631-1364 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Suspended driver charged

On Thursday August 9, 2012 St Thomas Police conducted a traffic stop on Wellington Street. A police check on the driver and Quebec plated vehicle revealed the male driver was suspended from operating a motor vehicle. He was issued a summons to appear in court. His vehicle was towed to a storage compound.
