Having no Insuranace is a big fine

A 32-year old female driver from St. Thomas was pulled over on Talbot Street after a check of the vehicle showed unconfirmed insurance information. Shortly after 9:00am on Tuesday February 21, 2017 the Officer was on Talbot Street and used the information technology mobile data terminal to check on the vehicle in front of him.

After the investigation was complete the driver walked away with three charges in total. Driving a motor vehicle with no insurance, Fail to change address on licence and Fail to change address on permit.

Failing to have Insurance carries a maximum fine of $5000.00.
