Over 80 mgs

On December 27, 2015 at approximately 2:45 am, the St. Thomas Police conducted a traffic stop on Wellington Street. A 32 year old male driver was found to have consumed alcohol and a roadside screening test was administered by the officer. The man failed the test and he was subsequently arrested for drive with more than 80 mgs of blood alcohol. The accused was transported to the police station where he provided two samples of his breath that were found to contain more than the legal limit of alcohol. The man was later released with a future court date.
