Three St. Thomas residents were arrested and charged after St. Thomas Police were contacted regarding a marihuana grow operation in the rear yard of a Balaclava Street residence.
On Tuesday June 9, 2015 as a result of the information received, the St. Thomas Police executed a search warrant at a residence and located 331 marihuana plants, a large quantity of dried marihuana bud, contraband cigarettes, and other drug paraphernalia.
Charged are, 54 year-old John Cornwall for unlawfully produce substance X2 and possession for the purpose of trafficking X2 under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act. 52 year-old Kelly Ellis charged with unlawfully produce substance and 54 year-old Phillip Ellis for unlawfully produce substance.
All three were held pending a bail hearing.
