Search Warrant

On August 28th, 2014 at approximately 720PM members of the St Thomas Police Drug Enforcement Unit with assistance of uniform patrol executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a Meda Street residence in the city’s north end.

As a result of this search warrant several people were taken into custody, including persons under the age of 18 who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

During the search police located a quantity of Hydromorphone throughout the residence.

Subsequently a 37 year old St. Thomas man is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. The accused is being held in custody pending a court appearance.
