On Thursday June 28, 2012 Lorretta Havell a 41 year old St Thomas resident was apprehended by store security for shoplifting at a Talbot Street retail store. She was later released on conditions that included a future court date.
Disturbance leads to arrest
At 10:48PM Thursday June 28, 2012 St Thomas Police attended a North end home regarding a disturbance between the female home owner and her father. Investigation of the incident resulted in police arresting the 48 year old male for trespassing. During the arrest the accused actively resisted leading to an additional charge of resisting and wilfully obstructing a peace officer. He was later released on conditions that included a future court date.
Man arrested for disturbance at bar
Shortly after midnight on Friday June 29, 2012 St Thomas Police attended a Talbot Street restaurant regarding a male patron refusing to leave the premises. While speaking with officers the intoxicated man became extremely belligerent. A police check revealed the man was on conditions not to consume alcohol. He was arrested however during the arrested he actively resisted and obstructed officers. The accused has been charged with being intoxicated in a public place, breaching the terms of an undertaking interim release order, and resist arrest. He was held at police headquarters pending an A.M court appearance.
