Shoplifters charged

On September 6, 2012 St Thomas Police attended a Talbot Street retail store regarding a theft. Police say shortly after 7:30PM two adults were observed loading stolen electronics and meat into a vehicle situated in the parking lot of the premises. An 18 year old female and 21 year old male were arrested and charged with theft over $ 5000. Both were later released on conditions that included a future court date.

Female charged for assault

Shortly after 1:30AM Friday September 7, 2012 St Thomas Police arrested and charged a 20 year old female for assaulting a second female at a Talbot Street bar. The accused was released on conditions that included a future court date.

Drunk arrested

At about 2:46AM Friday September 7, 2012 St Thomas Police arrested and charged a 51 year old male for being intoxicated on Talbot Street. The male was lodged at police headquarters until sober.

  2. The St. Thomas Police should keep an eye on the Fresco Plaza area lots of shoplifters are vandalizing and stealing from these retail stores everyday.

  3. Is there anyway for the St. Thomas community to have security seminars on how to protect retailers from theft also the employees that these robbers try to use as a target for set up of a theft. If an awareness program education and seminars were put in place St. Thomas crime rate will go down.

  4. Also a note for all retailers rotate your cashiers do not have the same main cashier on all the time as the cashier becomes easy target for robbers to take advantage of. Take it from someone who comes from a bigger city.
