Street Disturbance

In the early morning hours of September 22, 2013 police attended a street disturbance after a male was asked to leave a downtown tavern for causing problems for staff. Officers subsequently arrested a 45 year old male on Talbot Street for being intoxicated in a public place but he broke free from the officer’s grip and began to walk away. The man was re-apprehended by the officer and a mild struggle ensued until more officers arrived to assist. The man now faces charges for being intoxicated in a public place, resist arrest and assault police.

On Saturday, September 21, 2013 police attended a north side residence regarding a verbal dispute between a man and a woman. Investigation revealed that the woman was at the residence in breach of a judicial release order for a non association condition regarding a domestic assault from the previous week. The 28 year old female was located in the residence and subsequently arrested for fail to comply. She was held for court

On Saturday, September 21, 2013 St. Thomas Police arrested a 29 year old female for fail to comply. The female failed to sign in at the police station the previous day as part of her release conditions. The woman was held for court and remanded into custody
