Surety revocation leads to drug charges and more

In late June of 2015 a 32 year –old female from St. Thomas was released by the Courts with numerous conditions as well as a surety.

On July 13, 2015 the female had her surety revoked. At approximately 7:05pm of the same day St. Thomas Police observed the female on Talbot Street. She was told she was under arrest because of the surety revocation and a minor struggle ensued.

A search of the accused revealed she was in possession of Cocaine, Marihuana, Fentanyl, Hydromorphone and Lisdexamfetamine (used to treat ADHD).

As a result she has been charged with resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance X5 and breach of recognizance. She was held pending a bail hearing.
