Thief caught in Church break-in

In the early evening of December 10, 2012, a 47 year old St. Thomas man broke into the Eastwood Baptist Church on Wellington St. The man caused damage once inside and stole a sum of money. Through the efforts of the St. Thomas Police Service the male was later identified, arrested and charged for his crimes. The male has been charged with Break, Enter and Theft as well as three counts of Breach of Probation and was held for a morning court appearance.

Domestic Assault

In the late night hours of December 11, 2012 a 41 year old St. Thomas female was arrested after assaulting her 44 year old common law. His injuries were non-life threatening. The female was charged with one count of assault and held for a morning court appearance.
