Thieves Target Neighbourhood Vehicles

On 16 February 2013, St. Thomas Police were kept busy responding to calls for service in a southwest neighbourhood that fell victim to multiple vehicle entries and thefts. It is believed the incidents occurred on Saturday in the early morning hours. The suspect(s) caused damage to the driver’s side door locks on a couple of vehicles to gain access, while other vehicles were entered through unlocked doors. The incident culminated with the theft of a 2006 Grey Chevrolet Cobalt with Ontario licence plate BRBS 374. This stolen vehicle has not been recovered and Police ask that if anyone observes this vehicle or has any other information pertaining to these incidents to contact the St Thomas Police Service at 519-631-1364 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
