Traffic stop leads to multiple arrests

An Officer on patrol observed a vehicle blow through a 4-way stop at the intersection of Churchill and Chestnut around 11:18am on Thursday September 8, 2016.
As a result of the traffic stop, two passengers in the vehicle known to the Officer were arrested as they were both on conditions not to associate with one another. The 33-year old female from St. Thomas faces one count of Breach of Probation and was released later in the day with a future court date. The 30-year old male faces three counts of Breach of Probation, one count of failing to comply with Recognizance and one count of possession of methamphetamine, and was held pending a bail hearing.

The Driver of the motor vehicle, a 33-year old male from St. Thomas, has been charged with; failing to stop at a stop sign and failing to surrender insurance card. He was also served a notice that his drivers licence has been suspended for unpaid fines.
