Two males charged after foot pursuit

On Wednesday November 21, 2012, two St. Thomas men were arrested after short foot pursuit with police. They had stolen items from a local grocery store which was observed by the store Loss Prevention Officer. Both males, one 17 and the other 20, were charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime. They were released with conditions.

New Traffic Project

St Thomas Police are implementing a new traffic initiative in the area of Wellington – Metcalfe – and Queen Street(s). Residents residing in the area are reminded they can obtain a two hour extended permit (pink tag) from city hall allowing them an additional two hours of parking in that area, as long as they don’t exceed a five hour limit.
