Come one, come all! From August 21st to 24th, the annual Iron Horse Festival is making its comeback this year in style with a NEW location.
Bringing together the railway heritage that makes St. Thomas Canada’s railway capital, the festival will be sandwiched between 2 of the city’s most impressive railway assets, the Canada Southern Railway Station and the Elgin County Railway Museum. For those of you who have to drive in, parking is in abundance off Third Ave (adjacent to the Railway Museum); meaning better parking, bigger space and more fun!
But in order to make all this happen, we need your help! Iron Horse is currently recruiting volunteers for its 20th anniversary. Are you in high school/going into high school and need volunteer hours? Are you looking to get involved in your community? Sign up with Iron Horse and have fun while getting engaged in one of St Thomas’ most popular events! To sign up call 519-207-4000 or register on-line at www.ironhorsefestival.com/volunteering.
The new and improved Iron Horse Festival, come and see for yourself.
