St. Thomas Public Library, April 27, 2015 – St Thomas Public Library will be hosting a book launch for the photobook created to commemorate the library’s 130th Anniversary in 2014. St. Thomas Public Library spent all of 2014 celebrating its 130 years of service to the community, and the photobook includes images from the events and activities over the past year, as well as stories and memories written by members of the public. “We really wanted to capture the spirit of the library in this book.” says Rudi Denham, Chief Librarian and CEO, “Our customers shared with us their fond memories and anecdotes about the library, and it really highlights just how important the library is to the community.”
“There is a safety in bring somewhere no one will judge you with amazing staff who are ready and willing to help you and spend time making a home-like atmosphere… St. Thomas Public Library is a place to make new friends and, with the newly renovated kids’ and teens’ lounge, it makes it easy for everyone in the family to have fun and enjoy.”
