And Yet Another Snow Warning!

Good day All, sorry I have been AWOL recently but I do have a valid reason. Final preparations for our 2 events March 26, 2011 are wrapping up nicely. Everyone that I have spoken to has expressed their excitement about both events. Ticket sales for the evening event are going wonderfully & we will be able to raise funds for 3 great charities & raise awareness about Princess Project (which makes me happy).

I have resolved to believe that all the snow warnings we have had are good luck signs for us! (Delusional? Well maybe.) It seems every time I need to travel to the Southern region of Ontario, we are blessed/cursed with a snow warning. These warnings tend to make me get things done faster & more effectively (psychological? yes!) I must think that I can put 48 hours worth of work into a 24 hour time period, it works for me. I tend to organize myself in a manner that becomes easy to pack & unpack for a more efficient trip. Time is ticking down for these events and I am ready to hit them head on!

In my travels, over the past 3 months, I have encountered some great people who run small businesses in some wonderful locations. People with big hearts and the ability to see the value in free advertising. The old adage (cleaned up for a PG rating of course) the more mud you throw against a wall the more is going to stick. I have watched people beam with excitement when they hear about Princess Project & I have had people abruptly state “WELL, I don’t know what that is!” to which I say “Doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist” or the people who claim that “there is no need for that sort of thing in this area” to which I say “then why have we helped over 125 girls dress for their special events?”

So the good with the not so good, the good experiences well out weigh the not so good and regardless I will continue to do what I do to further the awareness of our Project.
