Fog Advisory for: St. Thomas – Aylmer – Eastern Elgin County

ISSUED BY ENVIRONMENT CANADA AT 3:22 P.M. EST SUNDAY 14 DECEMBER 2014

Near zero visiblity in fog is expected or occurring. Widespread fog is expected over Southwestern Ontario tonight due to a moist and stagnant airmass. Fog patches are expected to form this evening after sunset, and become more widespead with very low visibilities overnight and early Monday morning.

Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. If travelling, be prepared for areas of near zero visibility. Weather Advisories for fog are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required, so stay tuned to your local media or Weatheradio.
