Snow Squall Warning for: St. Thomas – Aylmer – Eastern Elgin County

Snow squalls with near zero visibility today. Snow squalls have developed in the strong and gusty west to southwest flow off the Great Lakes. Radar indicates intense snow squall bands across the regions. Snowfall amounts will be highly variable, however up to 30 cm are possible today in areas where the snow squalls are persistent. Motorists should note that driving conditions will be hazardous due to very poor and fluctuating visibilities caused by heavy snow and blowing snow, along with rapid snow accumulation on untreated roads.
